Weather Data Display

The Weather Data Display lets you view a history of up to 48 hours of a particular weather zone's temperature, wind chill, wind speed and wind direction information.

Expanding the Display

To view all of the data available for the selected weather zone, click on the "+" button in the bottom left corner to expand the display. You can collapse the view again by clicking on the same button.

Narrowing/Widening the graph timespan

The data display will show 2 days worth of data by default. You can change this by selecting a number from the 'Display n days of data' combo box. If you narrow the time range, then you can always scroll left or right by clicking and holding the middle mouse button anywhere on the chart and moving the mouse left or right.

Changing the Unit of Measure for temperature

You can switch between degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit by clicking on the "Unit of Measure" combo box and selecting the UOM you desire.

Zooming in/out

To zoom in on a section of the graph, click and hold the left mouse button on the graph and drag it down and to the right until the rectangle that appears surrounds the area that you wish to zoom in on, then release the mouse button. To zoom back out, left-click and drag the mouse cursor upward and to the left and then release the mouse button.

Selecting a period to view

By default the 'Synch with Displayed Time' checkbox is checked, meaning that the labels underneath the graph will show the latest dispatch values. You will also notice a black vertical dotted line marking the current display time on the graph. If you uncheck this box, the vertical dotted-line will become cyan and you can select a time period to view by left-clicking on the chart at a time that interests you.

Exporting to CSV

To export data to a .csv file, make sure that the series that you are interested in are active (checked) on the graph and then click the "Export Selected Series to CSV" button. The "Save As" dialog will appear. Simply go to the directory where you want to save the file, enter the filename and click the Save button. The file should now be available in the selected directory containing data for the series that were active on the graph.
