Node Layer Settings

You can adjust the Node layer colour scale settings by visiting the Nodes Layer section of the Options screen. You can do this by clicking the Tools menu and selecting "Options". Once the Options screen is open, click on "Nodes Layer" which is located under "Advanced Features" in the left column.

Nodes can be coloured by whichever nodal price you specify (MCP, 10S, 10N and 30R). Simply choose the price type that you'd like to use from the combo box at the top of the screen.

The next thing you need to specify is the kind of range to apply. To select one, simply click the radio button beside the range type's description.

Absolute Range

As the description on the screen suggests, this is a single explicit $/MWh value range to be applied uniformly to all nodes on the map.

Relative Range ($/MWh)

Each node is coloured based on the difference in $/MWh between their nodal price value, and the regional price.

Relative Range (%)

Each node is coloured based on its price as a percentage against the regional price (100%).
