Ahmad Faruqui to Join a PLMA Dialogue on Electricity Pricing

Brattle Principal Ahmad Faruqui will join a Peak Load Management Association (PLMA) Dialogue on “Why Is Electricity Pricing So Difficult? Between a Rock and a Smart Meter,” which will take place May 28, 9:30–10:30 a.m. (PT)/12:30–1:30 p.m. (ET).
Dr. Faruqui will discuss how some utilities are succeeding with time-of-use (TOU), demand, and dynamic pricing; where the barriers are today; and how to design pricing options that customers will understand and want.
