Ryan Hledik Will Participate in Webcast on U.S. Load Flexibility Potential
Brattle Principal Ryan Hledik will participate in a Peak Load Management Alliance (PLMA) webcast titled “Load Flexibility Potential in U.S. by 2030” on September 5 from 2:00–2:30 p.m. (ET).
Mr. Hledik will join Hawaiian Electric’s Richard Barone to discuss the key findings of the recent Brattle study “The National Potential for Load Flexibility: Value and Market Potential Through 2030” and its implications for the demand response market. Among the study findings were 200 GW of cost-effective load flexibility potential in the U.S. by 2030. This load flexibility potential more than triple the existing demand response (DR) capability and would be worth more than $15 billion annually in avoided system costs.
