Robert Mudge to Present at EUCI’s PURPA 101 Conference

Brattle Principal Robert Mudge will present at the Electric Utility Consultants, Inc.’s (EUCI) Public Utilities Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA) 101 conference, taking place March 12-13, 2018 in Portland, OR.

The event will provide historical context and legal framework of PURPA, as well as an overview of different avoided cost methodologies and non-discrimination towards qualifying facilities (QFs).

Mr. Mudge will present during the panel discussion “History & Legal Framework.” He and his co-panelists will discuss the original intent and historical context of PURPA, and address the rise and fall of dual federalism in energy law.
