Dr. Reynolds is widely known for his empirical and theoretical analyses of antitrust, regulatory, and financial issues.
He has more than 25 years of experience in academia, government, and consulting, and has provided expert testimony on a number of occasions. Prior to entering private practice, he was Assistant Director for Economic Policy at the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice, where he helped shape policies regarding the use of economic analysis in the Division.
He has taught at Cornell University, the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Idaho. Dr. Reynolds has made major contributions to books and distinguished academic journals on topics that include joint ventures, predation, merger effects, market definition, contestability, and regulation.
