Patrick Holder

Dr. Holder has extensive experience in analyzing complex antitrust and competition issues in large commercial litigations, with a focus on the technology sector. He is an expert in industrial organization, econometrics, monopolization, collusion, and mergers.

Dr. Holder has both directed and worked with case teams in several large antitrust and competition litigations. His consulting work includes the calculation of commercial damages and valuation, as well as analyses of competition issues in single-firm conduct cases and merger reviews. Dr. Holder has substantial experience in litigations and arbitration matters involving multi-sided markets, technology and telecommunications firms, and the entertainment industry. He has also consulted on numerous cases relating to environmental issues and the agricultural industry; his work in this area involves analyzing large volumes of data to establish liability and calculate damages.

In addition, Dr. Holder is an accomplished researcher and thought leader. He has presented at conferences hosted by the National Association for Business Economists (NABE) and the North American Economic Science Association. His research has appeared in top peer-reviewed economics journals, such as Management Science, the Journal of Health Economics, and Homo Oeconomicus.
