Pietro Grandi
Dr. Grandi specializes in applied microeconomics and corporate finance, applying economic theory and econometrics in a variety of contexts, including in antitrust, competition, and banking.
He is experienced in working with large-scale datasets such as credit registries and in performing microeconometric estimation techniques and analyses. He received his PhD from Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, where his research focused on a wide range of topics, including monetary policy and negative interest rates; the nexus between banks and sovereign debt; and the financing of innovation and R&D for small firms.
Before joining Brattle, Dr. Grandi gained substantive experience through his academic work and as an associate at the Payment Systems Regulator in the UK.
