Brattle Experts Recognized as Competition Thought Leaders in Who’s Who Legal’s 2022 Guide
Who’s Who Legal has recognized three Brattle Principals and one Academic Advisor as leading experts in its 2022 guide for Thought Leaders in Competition.
Principal Dr. Peter Davis is an expert on competition damages actions, mergers and acquisitions, cartels, and market investigations. The leader of Brattle’s Europe Antitrust & Competition Practice, he is a former Deputy Chairman of the UK Competition Commission (CC), which is now a part of the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
Principal Dr. Renée Duplantis has nearly 20 years of experience involving complex competition matters in Canada, the US, and Europe. She is the leader of Brattle’s Canadian Competition Practice, and a former T.D. MacDonald Chair in Industrial Economics (Chief Economist) at the Canadian Competition Bureau.
Academic Advisor Prof. Kai-Uwe Kühn is a Professor of Economics at the University of East Anglia who has advised on all aspects of competition matters for 25 years. He has served as the Chief Economist of DG Competition, European Commission.
Principal Prof. Daniel McFadden is the Presidential Professor of Health Economics at the University of Southern California, where he has joint appointments at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and the Department of Economics at USC Dornsife College. He is the recipient of the 2000 Nobel Prize in Economics for his development of theory and methods for analyzing discrete choice.
