A Stimulating and Collegial Environment
We work in teams of engaged, solution-oriented, and friendly individuals, all of whom share the same goal: providing the best quality service to our clients. It’s important that teammates work well with each other and that everyone has a voice. We know that the best ideas can come from anyone, whether it’s our newest hire or our most seasoned veteran. Your contribution will be noticed and appreciated, and you will always come away from a team experience knowing more than when you started.
Work Alongside the Best in the Industry
We pride ourselves on having a flat organizational structure, meaning that you will work side-by-side with some of the most respected analytical minds in the world. We strive to recruit and develop individuals with the highest qualifications and credentials from diverse backgrounds. The economists and advisors that direct project teams are seasoned experts who have earned reputations as leaders in their industries. Our Academic Advisors and other outside experts are some of the most well-known and well-respected authorities in respective fields. You will not only learn from them, you will also learn with them as you work together to solve complex problems.
A Time and Place for Fun
Taking time to relax and enjoy life is critical to a healthy office environment and to doing high quality work. We have office happy hours each Friday where you can get to know your colleagues and share your interests. We also have more elaborate events throughout the year to celebrate our collegial culture and tap into the energy of our staff. Volunteer groups in each office organize day trips, sports teams, charity events, and other functions to build a spirit of community, fun, and camaraderie.
Pro Bono Program
The Brattle Group’s pro bono program provides underserved communities in our legal system with access to economic expertise and analytical skills. We collaborate with pro bono committees at leading law firms as well as nonprofits such as the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law (Lawyers’ Committee) to provide expert testimony, reports, economic analyses, settlement guidance, and data management.
Consultants from across offices, practice areas, and levels work closely together to deliver clear insights that help address important social issues. They apply the same economic rigor to these projects as they do to other client engagements. At times, consultants will have the opportunity to take on more senior roles on these projects. Notable topics that Brattle has helped to analyze include criminal justice reform, voting rights, modern-day debtors’ prisons, refugee resettlement, and child support, among others.
Many cite their pro bono work among the highlights of their experience at Brattle.
We Focus on Our Core Values
We take our values seriously and strive to live up to them every day. The way we treat each other, our clients, our communities, and the firm is as important to us as the work we do.

We Are Privately Held
Our Principals own the firm – not outside investors or shareholders. We set our own objectives, take the long view, and focus on doing the best possible job for our clients while also creating the best possible environment for our employees.
We Are Just the Right Size
We provide a small-company atmosphere, where people know each other by name and develop strong professional relationships, yet we’re large enough to have a global reputation in our markets and to attract the best cases.
