Associate Ian Cass to Discuss the Role of Economists in Merger Reviews at the CBA Young Lawyers Symposium 2021

Brattle Associate Ian Cass will speak at the Canadian Bar Association (CBA)’s Young Lawyers Symposium 2021, which will take place on Thursday, June 3 from 1:00–3:30 p.m. (PT) | 4:00–6:30 p.m. (ET). The event is presented by the Young Lawyers Committee of the CBA’s Competition Law Section.

Mr. Cass will join the “Economics Nuts & Bolts: Through a Hypothetical Merger Scenario” session, which will introduce common economic concepts and analyses in the merger context, outline a hypothetical merger fact scenario, and describe the work economists commonly undertake through the merger review process.
