Ian Cass to Participate in CBA Teleconference on Economic Analysis in Merger Review

Brattle Associate Ian Cass will join the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Competition Law Section’s Economics and Law Committee teleconference on economic analysis in merger review, taking place August 6 from 9:00–10:00 a.m. (PT)/12:00–1:00 p.m. (ET).

The COVID-19 pandemic has strongly influenced the world economy for almost five months. The panel of economists will discuss common economic analyses used to estimate mergers’ competitive effects and comment on how COVID-19 may impact these analyses and the overall merger review process.
