Renée Duplantis to Participate in CBA Teleconference on the Effect of COVID-19 on Merger Control

Brattle Principal Renée Duplantis will join a Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Competition Law Section Mergers Committee teleconference on the impact of COVID-19 on merger control, which will take place April 8, 12:00–1:00 p.m. (ET).

Dr. Duplantis and the panel will consider the effect that COVID-19 is currently having and is expected to have on merger control in Canada and internationally. They will address topics including the impact that the pandemic will have on the timing of reviews and service standards, as well as potential strategies that parties can employ to facilitate more efficient review processes.
